TWO AND TWO TOGETHER

The events take place over Thursday evening and Friday morning, in two houses in the same street, in the suburbs of a big city. One house belongs to Georgina and Henry, the other to Rachel and Victor.

When Rachel suddenly takes up rowing as a hobby her husband Victor never suspects that she is doing something completely different in the house of her good friend Georgina. This is because he is preoccupied with the said Georgina, whom he is meeting secretly whilst her husband, Henry, an actor, is performing at the theatre.

However, one evening Henry returns home unexpectedly and there follows a riotous whirlwind of lies and misunderstanding as the various parties try to conceal their secrets.

The arrival of Mr Procter from Neighbourhood Watch and Mrs Capstick, cleaning lady to both houses, does not help and only adds further confusion to the situation!
